Buy an established business

Self business selling and buying? There are some marketplaces where you can sell your business or buy a working business. Businesses are bought and sold every day, maybe you want to enter a new market or you want to exit a market. Maybe you think your business will develop to a new level with another owner and you reached the ceiling of how high you can expand it. Let’s see some successful business deals and discuss a little about places where you can buy or sell a business.

Any business can be sold! Even websites, that are not really businesses, can be sold for a lot of money. Celebrity Baby blog was created by Danielle Friedland in 2004, and as you can see from the name of the blog, the topic is pretty obvious. Yes that’s right it’s another blog about famous babies. With celebrities a current trend at the time (when are they not, right?) and her website gaining a very steady stream of visitors, She managed to sell the blog to Times Inc in a deal worth $10 Million. Not bad for a blog based on babies, the blog has also changed names since to babyrazzi.com. Tree Hugger was the brainchild of Graham Hill, an environmentalist entrepreneur who knew how to use technology to his advantage. He managed to sell the blog to the Discovery Communication for a neat and tidy sum of $10 Million in 2007. You got to admit there’s probably not that many tree huggers out their worst $10 million!

Advices for buying a business: The better financials you have, the higher the chances you have of selling your business. In my case, it took me a long time to clear up my financials so I could present my business to buyers. Unfortunately, it wasn’t really well-structured. I didn’t have much experience, and I needed to call an accountant to help me present everything better and in a smooth way to potential buyers. Also, remember not to include personal purchases or any activities that don’t include your business. Keep your numbers clear and simple; it will help you sell your business faster and smarter. Many people make this mistake and include their personal expenses inside their business and even keep their business’ money in their personal bank account. This is all a huge mess because if a buyer wants your business, it would have to see all your bank information to see what’s going on. So, keep business and personal expenses separate. Ideally, set the base for twelve months of just transactions related to the business to make your finances clearer, making it easier for you to sell your online business. Flippa was the first-ever marketplace used for selling websites, and they’re still one of the best. With over 600,000 users, there are plenty of interested buyers to sell to and with the 5,000 online businesses and domains listed for sale every day, there’s lots of choice. Not only can you just buy and sell online businesses on Flippa, but there are other digital assets to choose from like websites, domains and apps. If, however, you’re just looking for online businesses to buy, check out their dedicated categories to Shopify and Amazon FBA stores to narrow down business listings from these particular platforms. Flippa also offers its own escrow service for secure payment processing, and they offer a free valuation service for sellers so they can discover what their business is worth. Flippa works hard to offer a seamless and high-quality service for both buyers and sellers on their site so if you’re looking for a lot of choice and a busy marketplace, Flippa is a great option.

After listing Flippa (a marketplace where I am most active) and Exchange (newest marketplace) it’s time to start mentioning more serious and reputable marketplaces. In order to list your website on Empire Flippers, the website needs to be making a minimum of $500 per month for 12 straight months. Besides this raised bar, there is a vetting process that a broker from Empire Flippers conducts. You absolutely have to have Google Analytics, and they double check your revenue numbers and proof. One very important thing you need to know as a buyer is that you only get limited info from their website. If you are interested more, you need to make a 5% refundable deposit. For example, if the list price is $26,555 you need to make a refundable deposit of $1,328. Unlike Flippa, you don’t see an exact domain name of the website being sold. You get a general niche and monetization methods.

Zazzle’s been called the “anti-Amazon by some,” but we don’t really see it that way. Zazzle is comparable to Cafe Press in that it’s a marketplace devoted primarily to writers, graphic artists, and really anyone in the business of image or logo creation. This marketplace offers over 350 products to sell online; ecommerce merchants would not be able to list their individual products here–just as Café Press merchants have the ability to create 100% completely customizable online shops with an unlimited amount of products to sell. Zazzle allows merchants to set their own royalty rates from between 10% to 99% and adjusts the final price to include this percentage. The marketplace also offers free promotional tips and strategies. Zazzle’s Affiliate/Associate program pays at least 15% for all referred sales, and will even pay a referral fee for customers you refer to your own site. This marketplace indicates it pays out to merchants by check but that there is an option to have this done via PayPal.

Top welding guides

A few advices on welding equipment, MIG and TIG welders, plasma cutters. Identify the types of welding projects and materials you will weld most of the time. Are you creating metal sculptures? Do you intend to restore an old muscle car in your garage? Does the motorcycle you bought years ago require some fabrication? Maybe you need to do basic repair on farm equipment. Taking the time up front to identify the projects that will occupy the biggest percentage of your welding activity will help you determine the specific thickness of metal you will likely weld most often — and ultimately help you select the most suitable welder. Time to get a bit more specific. Let’s take a look at what welding process you can use for each metal type. Keep in mind that many of these materials are also processed using varying combinations of two or more metals to reinforce strength and functionality.

Several MIG welders guides: how to become a better welder and how to choose the top welding equipment. How do I choose what size Tig Welding Rod should I use for the job? For sheet metal up to 1/8” thick, don’t use a welding rod that is bigger than the thickness of metal you are welding…at least not much bigger. A good example…is using a 3/32 rod for welding .040 metal. That will just give you a fit. The amperage is low and the weld puddle needs to be small in order to prevent blowing a hole…and then when you dip the rod into the puddle, the rod is a big heat sink and sucks the heat right out of the puddle making it hard to maintain a consistent size bead. But Beginners should probably not be practicing on really thin metal. If you are a beginner you should be practicing on around 1/8 ” thick metal, and the bigger the rod, the easier it is to feed. For 1/8 ” metal, Use larger diameter rods (3/32” to 1/8”) So here is the rule….thin metal, use a thin rod Thick metal, use a thicker rod. This might seem like a no brainer, but I have answered a lot of questions like this about the rod melting before it gets to the puddle. If torch angle and arc length are right, its usually the rod size.

Delivery of parts to the welding station in an organized and logical fashion is also a way to reduce welding costs. For example, one company was manufacturing concrete mixing drums. In the fabrication process, the company produced 10 parts for one section, then went on to make 10 parts of another drum section, etc. As pieces came off the line, they were put onto the floor of the shop. When it was time to weld, the operator had to hunt for the pieces needed and sort through them. When the outside welding expert pointed out the amount of time being wasted in this process, the company started to batch each one on a cart. In this way, the pieces needed to weld one drum were stored together and could easily be moved to the welding area. This type of scenario is also true for companies that may outsource parts to a vendor. Though it may cost more to have parts delivered in batches, it may save more in time than having to organize and search through parts to be able to get to the welding stage. How many times each piece is handled in the shop may be an eye-opener to reducing wasted time. To measure such an intangible as this, operators are asked to put a soapstone mark on the piece each time it is touched – some companies are surprised to find out how many times a part is picked up, transported and laid down in the manufacturing process. In the case of one company, moving the welding shop closer to the heat treatment station eliminated four extra times that the part was handled. Basically, handling a part as few times as possible and creating a more efficient production line or work cell will reduce overall costs. Looking for the best Welding Supplies? We recommend Welding Supplies Direct & associated company TWS Direct Ltd is an online distributor of a wide variety of welding supplies, welding equipment and welding machine. We supply plasma cutters, MIG, TIG, ARC welding machines and support consumables to the UK, Europe and North America.

Not all aluminum alloys are weldable: For example: 7075 and 2024 are not considered readily weldable using TIG welding. You can usually TIG weld them and they might be fine for a tool tote or some little art project…but don’t be fooled. You can’t depend on the welds in critical applications. Take a tree stand for instance. Lets say Joe gets a good deal on some aluminum angle iron at his friends scrap yard and he decides to make a tree stand. Joe has no way of knowing what alloy of aluminum he got from the scrap yard. He makes the tree stand, it holds together and looks just fine. The welds are real pretty…like a stack of dimes. One day he is sitting in his tree stand about 20 feet up a tree. The stress corrosion that has been happening on a microstrucutural level since he finished welding the tree stand finally comes home to roost and CRACK!!

MIG Welding Increases Welding Speed: In addition to welding aluminum and other softer metals, MIG-welding works faster, provides cleaner welds, and handles many different types of metals. The downside is its complexity. MIG Welders need direct currents, a steady stream of inert gas, and precise control of their torches. The amount of heat generated from MIG welding provides the deep penetration required for a strong weld, while also melting the feed wire rapidly enough to maintain a higher welding speed than other techniques. Given the inert gas required for MIG welding, keep in mind that this technique cannot be conducted in windy areas. The Right Stick Electrode Increases Welding Speed: There are three kinds of electrodes used for stick welding: fast-fill, fill-freeze, and fast-follow. While each electrode has its advantages, the fast-fill electrodes melt quickly and allow welders to work faster.

Never forget that welding, when done improperly, can be hazardous. Electric shock, fumes and gases, arc rays, hot parts, noise and a host of other possible hazards come along with the territory. The ultraviolet and infrared light rays can also burn your skin — similar to a sunburn but without the subsequent tan — and your eyes. This is why the best MIG welding operator knows how to stay safe.

Look for ways to support your hands. Having good support for your hands or arms is crucial for moving the torch with precise control. I do my best welding when the base of my hands or my wrists is supported in some way. Often you can rest your wrists on the part being welded. I keep an assortment of wood and metal blocks near my welding bench, and I often can get better support by positioning a block to rest my torch hand on. There are occasions where I rest my forearms, or even my elbows, on something for support. Many welders set up special support bars, positioned parallel to the joint being welded, and they slide their torch hand along the bar to help follow the joint with fine control. For some out-of-position work, I’ve had to rely on resting only my shoulder on something, and while not ideal, it’s better than having no support at all. Even placing my hip against something stationary can offer a bit of support, but I can’t weld very well when standing ‘free,’ with no support at all. Blackjack’s house edge can be whittled down to only 0.05% by using a good blackjack strategy but slots have a 3-6% house edge which a player can never overcome. Stick to games where your skill can give you an advantage over the casino, like blackjack, baccarat and video poker.

The online casino industry has undergone great improvements since its inception in the latter part of the 20th Century. This can be attributed to the constant technological development all over the world. Initially, online gambling was received with a lot of skepticism by most traditional gamblers. They claimed that it did not offer the glamour of land-based casinos that delivered the classical gambling experience. Well, this is justifiable because online casino games were very far from real. The technological advancement in this industry has dealt with this factor effectively. Currently, players can get a real and believable Vegas-like gambling experience without leaving the comfort of their homes. The development of Virtual Reality gambling houses is certainly the milestone that has led to this revolution. It has superbly complemented the great improvements that have been made in online gambling realm.

New Zealand has its own specific rules when it comes to online gambling and this is regulated by the country’s Department of Internal Affairs, directly through The Gambling Commission. The current status is very dynamic and as Kiwis represent an important per cent of gamblers around the world might be relevant to keep an eye on this. At the moment online gambling is prohibited in New Zealand. However, it is not against the law for the players to gamble online, as long as the online casino is based outside the country’s borders. A fine term for New Zealanders to still enjoy online overseas casinos. No definite news for what 2019 may bring, but the legislation is under regular review so who knows? Reasonable online casino. Probably the best variety of video slots you’ll find and a pretty cool slot tournament with a similar feel to a poker room. Mr Green was another online casino innovator who decided that the way traditional sports-books offered online casino was not contemporary. Mr Green completely rebranded the face of casino and revolutionised what a casino brand could look like. Good slot game offering, multiple game verticals but nothing particulaly innovative now.

Cross-Platform Gaming. Gambling via mobile devices is on the rise and for online casinos to stay relevant, they must adapt to the ever-changing needs of players. More than 50% of revenue involving online gambling comes from mobile devices. Nowadays, players want to take their gaming on the go and be able to play from wherever. In 2019, we should see even more online casinos streamline their services to ensure mobile usage is offered, with even more games and high-quality services. The Internet has greatly revolutionized many aspects of our life. It has changed the way we shop, the way we work and of course the way we gamble. What once used to be a skeptical practice, is no longer so. The online gambling industry is growing and expanding every year. Why has gambling become so popular? Some tips about welding equipment, MIG and TIG welders, plasma cutters. When appearance counts, TIG welding creates a high quality, clean weld that is far less likely to distort the metal by using a nonconsumable tungsten electrode. There is no need to worry about splatter because it only uses the necessary amount of filler metal needed in the welding puddle, making for the highest quality weld in every respect. However, TIG is fairly specialized and requires a good deal of training in order to master it—so make sure any TIG welder purchase is paired with a plan to take welding classes. Instead of the point and shoot simplicity of MIG welding, TIG requires the use of a foot pedal to regulate the welding process. A filler rod that is separate from the torch that must be fed in gradually. Many professional welders prefer TIG because it can weld a wide variety of metals and because of the versatility of argon gas used during TIG welding. There is no slag to block the view of the weld puddle. Argon gas can weld any metal at any thickness with TIG welding, and therefore there is no need to change the gas depending on the project.

TIG welders guides: how to become a more skilled welder and how to select the top welding equipment. How do I choose what size Tig Welding Rod should I use for the job? Welding faster may sound appealing, but aside from practice, there are few shortcuts when creating a strong weld. In fact, unless a situation calls for a fast-moving weld, there’s a good chance that slow and steady is the way to go. An online search for ways to weld faster, will yield either descriptions of the ways automated welding has increased welding speed or press releases from companies who claim their gas or electrode holds the key to improving welding speed. In other words, it can seem like spending a lot of money is the only way to weld faster. However, for those looking for some ways to save time on their welding projects, there are some ways to weld faster for certain projects. While it’s not always a good idea to find a way to weld faster, there are situations when welding faster may produce a better product or a few simple changes can speed up the time on task.

Improper drive roll selection and tension setting can lead to poor wire feeding. Consider the size and type of wire being used and match it to the correct drive roll. Since flux-cored wire is softer, due to the flux inside and the tubular design, it requires a knurled drive roll that has teeth to grab the wire and to help push it through. However, knurled drive rolls should not be used with solid wire because the teeth will cause shavings to break off the wire, leading to clogs in the liner that create resistance as the wire feeds. In this case, use V-grove or U-groove drive rolls instead. Set the proper drive roll tension by releasing the drive rolls. Then increase the tension while feeding the wire into your gloved hand until the tension is one half-turn past wire slippage. Always keep the gun as straight as possible to avoid kinking in the cable that could lead to poor wire feeding.

Do a practice run. This may sound silly, but you’ll find that many professional welders do this before every pass. Get in the most comfortable position you can, with support blocks in place if helpful, and run your hands along the path they will traverse as you make the weld. You will often find that a slight adjustment of your position will allow you to make a longer pass, or to move your hands with less stress. Any strain in your position will have a negative impact on the weld. Also, you build valuable muscle memory when making your practice run, which will help keep everything on track when you make the ‘real’ pass. Clean a contaminated electrode immediately! Every welder will contaminate their electrode at some point, but it’s essential that you replace a contaminated electrode immediately. I usually keep a group of pre-sharpened electrodes right on my welding bench, so I can swap them out without having to walk to my grinder. Source: https://www.weldingsuppliesdirect.co.uk/.

Work-from-home opportunities

Working and making money from home can be a dream, but it can also be a reality. You can be skeptical of the real ways of earning money by working at home, but they do exist. Here are some of them :

When working in an office, your morning commute can help you wake up and feel ready to work by the time you get to your desk. At home, however, the transition from your pillow to your computer can be much more jarring. Believe it or not, one way to work from home productively is to dive into your to-do list as soon as you wake up. Simply getting a project started first thing in the morning can be the key to making progress on it gradually throughout the day. Otherwise, you’ll prolong breakfast and let the morning sluggishness wear away your motivation.

If you love kids, sign up for Care.com or SitterCity to spend a few hours a week babysitting. These websites verify both babysitters and those seeking sitters with background checks, so you can ensure you’re conversing with a reliable source. Babysitting rates vary based on years of experience, number of children, and hours per week. According to ZipRecruiter, the average hourly rate for a babysitter is $28. Use Care.com’s calculator to plug in your experience and find out how much your should be making an hour as a babysitter.

Identify what needs to get done every day and make sure to do it. “As long as I have a plan on how to complete the list of daily tasks on my personal to-do list, it doesn’t matter if or how I may be interrupted, as long as I get things done by the end of the day,” says Michael Pesochinsky, VP, GC and CTO of Great Neck, New York-based GovernmentBargains. Use the cloud. Klaus Sonnenleiter, president and CEO of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey-based PrintedArt, insists that important documents need to be uploaded to a cloud storage service such as Dropbox or Google Drive. “This way you can log in from anywhere and never need to worry about having your files with you,” he says. Swagbucks is one of the few all-inclusive platforms that lets you get paid for completing a variety of tasks. Like some of the other recommendations on this list, you can get paid to take daily surveys and you can also watch videos or play games for rewards points too. If one of your freelance gigs is writing or web research, you can “double dip” by performing your web searches through the Swagbucks search engine which will provide the same keyword results as going directly through Google or Bing. Every point you earn can be redeemed for gift cards or PayPal cash.

Do you need to recover permanently deleted files

Working with large quantities of information? You know the desperate moment when you realize that you need some files that you deleted a long time ago. This is the subject of this article : Best ways to Western Digital hard drive data recovery. First lets start with some general data recovery tips, valid for all type of data devices, PC’s, Mac’s, phones.

Use cloud storage. For most regular users, cloud storage services represent the most reliable way how to protect themselves against data loss. Providers of these services are commonly located on the other side of the planet, and they use sophisticated backup systems at their storage facilities, resulting in multiple degrees of redundancy. Best of all, services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive have free plans with generous storage limits, which are more than enough for text documents.

As far as performance issues go, there a couple things that may or may not be indications of hard drive failure. Although frequent freezing and the occasional corrupted file can result from a multitude of issues, including malware and other non-hard drive related problems, they are also plausible signs of a dying hard drive. The time it takes to carry out the most basic tasks, such as saving or moving a file from the desktop to a specified folder, may also be warning signs of impending hard drive failure, as is Windows’ fabled Blue Screen of Death.

Is the drive making no sounds on being connected or accessed? If the drive isn’t making any clicking or other sounds at all, it isn’t spinning at all. That is a clear indication of an issue with the drive’s PCB (the green circuit board attached to the bottom of the drive). In such a case, you’ll need to replace the PCB with a matching one from another matching hard drive.

Firmware: Your drive runs its own mini operating system in order to deal with all of the data and operations required to access it. Most of this firmware is stored on the platters. A small portion is stored on the PCB, which is required when the drive starts up. Firmware can go wrong, leading to inaccessibility of your data. Unfortunately hard drive firmware is not similar to your mobile phone or tablet—you cannot just update or reflash it. Each drive has its own unique modules and parameters and is highly complex in nature. Now that we understand the basic components of a hard drive let’s look at some common failures and symptoms you might experience, determine which component could be causing the problem, and see if we can tackle some of these problems DIY style.

Modern solid state drives (SSDs) in newer portable computers are much more difficult to access. These laptops are built very thin, and reaching the casing screws is sometimes impossible. Even if the case can be opened, many of these drives are inaccessible and sometimes even soldered directly onto the other components, so removal is virtually impossible. If someone has an SSD laptop that’s inoperable and contains important data, then the only viable option is to send the machine to a specialised shop. This company will open the device in a clean room and have the right sockets to match to the laptop’s proprietary connectors. While such recovery is usually successful, it could potentially cost thousands and will require a considerable amount of time.

Why Do Your Data Recovery can find all deleted files which were deleted long time ago? It offers advanced recovery mode to deeply scan your hard drive or device. If you can’t recover all deleted files which were deleted long time ago, just try advanced recovery mode to find all your lost files. See more details on How to recover deleted files which were deleted long time ago?.

An interactive training/learning platform requires employees to respond to what they are learning. This forces them to integrate the learning content with their own unique way of thinking as they stop to reflect on the answer they should give or the path they should choose. Once the choice is made, the learner receives feedback to help them recognize what they know versus what they should know. At the same time, interactive software gives trainers the ability to assess the performance of individual learners spontaneously, and in real time. As an employee moves through the learning process, immediate feedback reinforces what they have learned and helps to steer them toward making better choices without compelling them to do so, as is often the case with traditional training and learning techniques.

Interview candidates thoroughly. Judiciously interview several business coaches; this will increase your odds of finding the right match for you. This decision is as critical as selecting the right attorney and financial advisor. You want to be cautious and patient. Draft a list of interview questions. What is your experience coaching business owners? What credentials do you have in coaching or in other related fields? What is your personal coaching style? With what kind(s) of clients do you work best? What are the business issues in which you are most qualified?

5 TIG welders advices

5 welding supplies advices: how to become a more skilled welder and how to choose the top welding equipment.

Set the machine so that you are at welding amperage with the foot pedal depressed about 3/4 of the way: Set the machine so that you are at welding amperage with the foot pedal depressed about 3/4 of the way. The 1/4 pedal that you have left is for just in case reserve, just like driving a car.. Having the amperage set this way gives a lot more control than just setting the machine to 200 amps and controlling everything with the foot pedal. I don’t know about you but sometimes I lose focus when welding long periods. I don’t want any chance of welding with 200 amps if all I need is 50 amps. My ankles pop sometimes too, one ankle pop and you might jump or drop 30 amps if your machine amperage is too high.

All welding requires the application of heat, which melts the metal being welded. With the TIG process, the heat comes from an electric arc that streams between the electrode in a hand-held torch and the metal being welded. The arc and molten metal are shielded by an inert gas, which protects the electrode and base metal from oxidizing. Filler rod is usually added to the puddle of molten metal as the weld progresses. The essence of making a good weld is heat control, which is governed by how you modulate the arc as it streams from the torch. Let’s look at this in detail.

Ask me how to recover lost files from WD Elements portable hard drive

Working with large amounts of information? You know the panic moment when you realize that you need something that you deleted a long time ago. This is the subject of this post : How to recover deleted files which were deleted long time ago? First lets start with some general data recovery tips, valid for all type of data devices, PC’s, Mac’s, phones.

These days, it’s perfectly viable to do just about anything in the browser. You can write documents and edit Excel spreadsheets in Google Docs and the online version of Microsoft Office, Office 365, use Dropbox or OneDrive to organize your files, edit photos in Pixlr, and much more. Because the work you do using these online apps is stored in the cloud and backed by industry-grade data backup solutions, there’s virtually zero chance of you ever losing your progress. If you can build your entire workflow around online apps, you don’t even need to bring a laptop with you when traveling. Any public computer will allow to continue right from where you left off.

To make sure it’s the hard drive and not one of the many other things that can go wrong when starting up a computer, if possible, remove the hard drive and plug it into another computer. Lots of PCs make this easy, but for any device, the process will be easier with a tool kit and universal drive adapter. Once you’ve removed the drive, plug it into a working computer. If you can see that drive’s files on the working computer, pull out anything essential and make copies. Yes, this is a big ask, especially for anyone who hasn’t ripped apart a computer before. But this will at least determine if the drive is the part that failed.

Is the drive making clicking noises on connecting or accessing? As mentioned earlier, this is a job for the data recovery service center or professionals. Is the drive detected by the computer and spinning but hangs on accessing? Such a scenario is an indication of a large amount of bad sectors. This usually happens to hard drive with years of continued usage. Either use free BIOS accessing utilities that can skip bad sectors to read the data or send the drive to a data recovery service center if you’re not sure, but want the data recovered.

Having covered the ‘deleted data’ section of data recovery is all good and well, but what happens if your drive is not even being detected by your machine? Or your machine can see the drive, but just hangs when you try to access it? What about if the drive is completely dead and won’t even spin up? Let’s briefly cover the main components of a drive, see which components can fail, and what symptoms each failure might exhibit. PCB: This is the (often green) circuit board attached to the bottom of your drive. It houses the main controller (the equivalent of your computer’s CPU) along with many other electronic controllers. This is the interface that turns your 0s and 1s from the platter into usable data that your computer can understand.

Recovery services are also the only viable option if the machine was exposed to water, or if it was dropped and it’s likely some part of the drive was broken. If you hear loud clicking noises, or the machine was immersed in liquid, then the best route is to turn it off and keep it off. Never use a hairdryer or other hot air on the machine as this can push the liquid into further components and create an environment of high humidity. Simply find a recovery service and let the experts handle it. There are hundreds of software utility tools that can be downloaded off the internet for free, and offer promises of fast and easy data retrieval. Unfortunately, many of these are filled with malware, and using them will expose the data to theft or worse. Avoid using free utility services that do not have an established reputation as effective and virus-free tools.

Why Do Your Data Recovery can find all deleted files which were deleted long time ago? It offers advanced recovery mode to deeply scan your hard drive or device. If you can’t recover all deleted files which were deleted long time ago, just try advanced recovery mode to find all your lost files.
