Quality self-improvement experts from Transformative Purpose community

Best rated self-development coaching podcasts from Aaron Pang’s Transformative Purpose: Humans are creatures of habit, and we tend to become comfortable with our current routines and ways of doing things. Even if we know that a change would be beneficial, we may hesitate to make a change because it requires stepping out of our comfort zone. This tendency is known as the “status quo bias” and has been studied extensively in behavioral economics and psychology. People are more likely to stick with the status quo when they perceive potential losses as more risky than potential gains. See extra info on https://www.transformativepurpose.com/.

The vast majorit of elite performers have a coach. Are you missing the willpower to make progress towards your goals, or you are just going through the motions of life. When was the last time you checked in with yourself about where you are heading? Thank you for visiting this page. I was fortunate to have received coaching and became a leadership coach for a multi-national company in my late 20s.

I have been there. I had moments of languishing like something was missing in my life. I just could not articulate what it was. I turned to books, podcast, influencers, motivational videos but I still did not get the clarity I had wanted. Eventually, I learned to reflect on my autopilot thoughts, and reframed negative emotions into motivators. I asked deliberate questions to have a dialogue with myself. All our sessions are conversation-based which you will be asked questions to explore your inner self.

We will clarify your goals, co-create a system together to work towards your aspirational self. Change starts from within and I am really grateful I could be of help to facilitate your transformation journey. Can you work with me on all my issues? I can listen to your issues, ask questions to explore why they are so. I can work with you to create a system with incremental changes that work for you. However, I don’t have a magic wand that will make your issues go away. You need to take accountability and put in the work.

We make mistakes and we learn from them.” See more details on Aaron Pang.

Who is Sabra Pegler and some of her creative writing achievements

The ascent of a creative writer leader : Sabra Pegler Brainerd Minnesota: Find out what your committee wants and expects from your work. Following the advice about feedback above, find out what kind of writing your committee expects. Read novels completed by students they have worked with before. Ask them often what kinds of expectations they have for your chapters, and your project: what kinds of sources, how footnotes get used, the structure of chapters, how they feel about headings, and more. Knowing expectations will help you write effectively to your audience, and communication is key to avoiding potential pitfalls. But remember that this is your novel. At the end of the day, this is your work. It represents who you are as a scholar (for now, anyway). Stand up for what you think is important, and for what you want to say. Trying to please the entirety of your committee may be impossible, and at the end of the day it is up to you to know what you need to write.

Stay on task. Completing a dissertation, in large measure, is not so much a feat of the intellect as it is the result of discipline. If you are able to set aside large chunks of time with which to research and write, make sure that you are not using that time for other tasks. This means that you must strive against multi-tasking. In truth, studies have shown that multi-tasking is a cognitive impossibility. Our brains can only concentrate on one thing at a time. When we think we are multitasking we are actually “switch-tasking;” rather than doing several things at once, our brains are constantly toggling from one task to the other (listening to a song on the radio to reading a book, back to the song, etc.). You will be amazed at how much you can accomplish if you give an undistracted 60-90 minutes to something. Stay on task.

The discussion is where you explore the meaning and implications of your results in relation to your research questions. Here you should interpret the results in detail, discussing whether they met your expectations and how well they fit with the framework that you built in earlier chapters. If any of the results were unexpected, offer explanations for why this might be. It’s a good idea to consider alternative interpretations of your data and discuss any limitations that might have influenced the results. The discussion should reference other scholarly work to show how your results fit with existing knowledge. You can also make recommendations for future research or practical action. Creative writing can be both a rewarding and challenging experience. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned writer, developing effective writing strategies can help you enhance your skills and produce quality content. In this blog post, we’ll explore some effective strategies that can help you improve your creative writing skills. Set Goals and Priorities: Before you start writing, it’s essential to set clear goals and priorities. Define what you want to achieve with your writing and establish realistic timelines. Identify what’s important to you and focus on that. This can help you stay motivated and avoid writer’s block.

Sabra Pegler or the growth of a freelance writer expert: Think of like looking at the wind through a window. You can’t see the wind, right? The wind is invisible. But at the same time, you can see the wind because of its impact on the things that are visible. You see the leaves flapping. You see the surface of a puddle ripple. You see a girl hunched inside her coat, her hair blowing into her face. You see someone try to light a cigarette and the match go out. Abstractions like Love and Death don’t look, sound, or smell like anything. But they affect everything around them. And you can describe the places they’ve touched.

But say yes sometimes too. As I said above, taking breaks is essential. Next time someone asks you to go for a beer, close your computer and say yes. Carve out little bits of writing time. As I mentioned in my previous post, dissertation writing is a marathon, not a sprint. Writing often happens in little bits spread out over time. No matter how busy you are, take the time to write for half an hour a day. You can find half an hour somewhere. Get up early if you have to. If you write about a page a day, you can finish a chapter in a month.

Rhyming is the most obvious poetic technique used. It helps to make poems flow. Poems do not have to rhyme, however; there are many poems that are free verse—a style that allows poets the flexibility to write their thoughts and ideas without the constraint of following a particular rhyming pattern. There are several different rhyming patterns and schemes. Which one a poet uses will depend on the topic, style, and theme of the poem. Discover additional info on https://twitter.com/sabrapegler.
