Students that have had a head start in the principles and techniques looking for deep expertise in 2D and 3D animation AFM offers a unique, hands-on training experience that takes them through every step of the Animation & Live Action film making process. It starts with idea conceptualization, script writing, background and character development, animation or film production & stretches into post production. The emphasis of the course is four fold: a solid understanding of the principles of Animation & live action film making; supreme comfort in using various tools of trade, including industry standard software and hardware; thorough understanding of the Animation & live action film making process and lastly, how best you could contribute to Animation & Film Making careers or how you could transfer animation & live action film making skills to other trades.

This program introduces you to the world of simple machines. You start out by making a simple remote controlled game using servos and controllers. You learn to work with tools and to apply the principles of levers, gears and pulleys; you learn to apply the principles of design in general and engineering basics in particular; you learn to work with servos and controllers. Successful completion of the course paves your way to the second level of the STRIDE Engineering program. In subsequent levels you deepen your understanding of the Robotics field: you build a remote controlled mechanical claw; remote controlled cars (with speed controllers, motors, gears and steering systems); and you also learn to apply the principles of pneumatics to the RC devices you build.

You will learn Photoshop, digital illustration and the fundamentals of design; you will learn about colour theory; you will learn to apply concepts in measurements, proportion, fabric, stitches and accessories; you will be creating a full range collection for a wide variety of formal, semi-formal and informal occasions. At the end of the program, apart from building your personal portfolio, a necessary prerequisite if you are considering higher education in this field; you will acquire the skills to design your own ensemble; you will have a good understanding of the design process; you will know how the industry works and what you might be able to contribute to it.
